wb-check.de, compliance
Verification for wb-check.de went from three weeks to four minutes.
Germany's first automated transparency-register tool, running with no compliance violations.
Challenge
A single check took weeks, and every manual step was a risk.
Verifying a company against the German transparency register was a manual job. Analysts pulled extracts, cross-checked beneficial owners by hand and chased missing documents. A single check took weeks, and deals went to competitors who could answer faster.
Every manual step was also a place where a compliance violation could slip through. wb-check wanted the whole check automated, end to end, and it had to hold up under the scrutiny German regulators apply to KYC and AML tooling.

Approach
Discovery first, then a verification engine an auditor can follow.
We started with discovery. The Assess phase mapped every regulatory requirement, edge case and integration point before we designed anything.
From that map we built a verification engine that pulls register data, resolves ownership structures and flags the gaps a human would otherwise have to find. Each rule is traceable to the regulation that requires it, so an auditor can follow the same path the software took.
The client's compliance team was involved from the first week. They tested rules against real cases as we built them, which is how a tool like this earns trust before launch.
Result
Weeks became minutes, and the audit trail writes itself.
wb-check.de launched as the first automated transparency-register tool in Germany. A check that used to take weeks now clears in minutes, and the tool has run without a single compliance violation.
For wb-check's customers that means faster onboarding and fewer deals lost to slower compliance. For the compliance team it means the manual work is gone and the audit trail writes itself.
The engagement continues under Evolve. German transparency-register requirements have changed several times since launch, and each change has been reflected in the system within weeks of the announcement, with no compliance gaps.
“They understood our compliance requirements from day one. No extra guidance needed.”
